What we collect

Your name, email address, and an optional profile photo; the training data you and your coaches record (workouts, sets and weights, performance tests, one-rep maxes, conditioning results); optional daily wellness check-ins (sleep, soreness, energy, mood); an optional college target level you choose, along with your choices about sharing it; and team membership information set up by your school's coaches.

Who can see it

Your data is visible to you, to coaches and admins of teams you're on, and to a parent/guardian a coach has linked to your account. Teammates see only a leaderboard with your first name, last initial, and best results — never your full training history. Your profile photo, if you add one, is visible only to you. A college target level you set stays private until you choose to share it with your coaches or your parents, and you can change or clear it at any time. We do not sell your data or show ads.

Where it lives

Your data is stored in the United States with Supabase (database, sign-in, and file storage), on Amazon Web Services in Northern Virginia. The app itself is served by Netlify. Sessions you log while offline are kept on your device — subject to your device's available storage — until they sync, and are erased from the device when you sign out.

A few other services handle specific jobs, and only those jobs: Resend sends our email (sign-in codes and invitations, so it sees your email address); your device maker's push service delivers notifications if you turn them on (on an iPhone that is Apple); and exercise videos are embedded from YouTube's no-cookie player, which means Google sees your device's network address when a video or its thumbnail loads. These providers process data only to run the service. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the services named on this page.

Error monitoring

If the app hits an error, a report goes to Sentry so we can fix it — errors only, never your activity. Sentry's personal-data collection is switched off by default, and web addresses and navigation history are stripped of identifying details before they're sent. AthleteFlow does not load a separate analytics tracker.

Notifications

Push notifications (session reminders, team updates) are optional and off until you enable them on a device. They are delivered through your device maker's push service, so the reminder's text passes through it on the way to you. You can turn them off any time in Settings.

Young athletes

AthleteFlow is intended for athletes 13 and older. Accounts are created through a role-scoped team join code or a direct invitation from a school or coach. If your program includes athletes under 13, a parent or guardian must consent through the school before the athlete uses the app.

Your choices

You can edit your profile and remove your photo in Settings. To request a copy of your data or deletion of your account, contact your coach or team admin, or write to us directly at hello@athlete-flow.com — you never need your coach's permission to make a privacy request. Requests from a parent or guardian on behalf of a minor are honored the same way.

Questions or requests? Contact your coach or team admin — their email is on your team invitation, and they can reach the AthleteFlow team on your behalf. For a privacy, data-access or deletion request you can also write to us directly at hello@athlete-flow.com.
